The Magic Arm, with a variable friction knob, easily adapts to most vehicles and has long reach flexibility. The scissor shape, dual cantilever, arm with double ball joints is an engineering marvel. The large center knob releases all three joints simultaneously, allowing the user to quickly find a perfect mounting position. Slender arms fold to a very compact form when not in use. Very strong, stylish and extremely versatile. The mounting shoe attaches securely to the seat rail bolt on most vehicles and may remain in place while not in use. The MINIMOUNT Hardshell Netbook Case and Magic Arm may each be removed or installed in seconds. No tools required. The shoe fits in various configurations adapting to many interior situations. Because of the long cantilever involved, stability often relates to the strength of the vehicle mounting joint rather than the arm itself. For this reason, as well as safety, the arm should not be used while the vehicle is in motion. Remember, never use computers while driving! Such use is considered unsafe and may be unlawful.
